Biography
Paul D McGuire is a San Diego native. He graduated from California Western School of Law in 2011 and was admitted to the California bar the same year. He graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2008 magna cum laude with a degree in criminology and justice studies.
Prior to joining the firm, Paul practiced family law in San Diego for 10 years. After running his own practice for seven years he worked at Gordon D Cruse, APLC and then Holstrom, Block and Parke, APLC where he handled a variety of family law litigation matters.
Mr. McGuire was selected to Super Lawyers in 2022, 2023, and 2024 and selected to Rising Stars in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Paul lives with his husband and together they enjoy traveling around the world. Paul is a classical music enthusiast and regularly attends concerts with the San Diego Symphony and La Jolla Music Society. He is an avid reader and beer snob.
